Bllood Donation

Public Service Announcement:
Oklahoma Blood Institute puts out a call for blood donors. During the holidays the blood supply gets pretty short. I just finished up and it only takes about 30 minutes for paperwork and actual donor time.

I am unfortunately out for a year. Traveled out of country in July.

I don't do blood at all, and I've been giving regularly.

I just want to say thanks to those who can or have in the past I us allot of it for our patients who need it. Holidays are stressful on the supply & is the time that alot of transplants take place due to unfortunate circumstances

They have to run a business & they charge the hospitals for it who has to charge the patient. There is allot of man hours to draw a unit & test it to make sure it is safe for the people who need it. These people do not work for free including your buddy

The wife and I are going in Saturday morning. We try to give every chance we get. They have been calling us too this last week.
