He's one of my heroes because he's tough and produces and doesnt whine. And I dont care what he does off the field.

gonna hurt for the rest of his life when he does retire

I have friends in their 40s who retired from pro football many years and none of them played as long or as many games as Favre and some of them have to use a cane to get around.

I worked in Green Bay for ten years, so I was of course a Packer fan.

When the drama happened, I followed Brett.

There is quite simply no other quarterback as fun to watch.

I used to watch that silly ******* throw blocks on linesman. Going to take their heads off blocks.

He is such a relief from the pussified, trust fund baby, current crop of corrupt NCAA hasbeens, that pretend to be NFL QB's.

He loves the game. He likes to win.

I quit watching the NBA when Jordan quit. I have a nasty suspicion that the NFL will follow suit with me.

With free agency, and all the drama's, it is just hard to get attached to a team or player anymore.

I am in my fifties, and I am still a competitive shooter. Every year, the little ****s get faster, and the SUV their daddy brings them to the range in, gets a little bigger. They dont reload their own ammo, or buy it.

I guess I emphasise with a creaky, aging, slightly bitter old athlete that watches spoiled little ****s whine about the temp of their Bree cheese.

I could honestly give a flying **** if he cheats on his wife, or has trouble making up his mind to play in the killer NFL when is that old.

I just loving watching that competitive SOB lace em up one more time.

I know - I love this guy - tougher'n nails; puts on a show with best game in his career; massive 4th quarter comeback OT win, with AP's help. At his age, gotta love it! He may just become my new alltime favorite player over my current fav - Jerry Rice.
