Stepping Stone Cafe in Bixby. I used to work with the owner's son who told me about the place when they were opening it up. According to the son, the owner worked for Coleman's when he was young. Their hand battered onion rings are the best I've had and it's about the only place the wife and I will go to for a burger.

They do a good job on EVERYTHING at Stepping Stone!! Love their catfish.

There was a place in Amarillo called Barnabys Beanery that made a “ Cornbread Cheeseburger” it was a regular cheeseburger but the bun was cornbread instead of a regular bun, Those were phenomenal !! I think the place closed down a few years ago but not sure since I haven’t been back thru there in a long time.
