Stepping Stone Cafe in Bixby. I used to work with the owner's son who told me about the place when they were opening it up. According to the son, the owner worked for Coleman's when he was young. Their hand battered onion rings are the best I've had and it's about the only place the wife and I will go to for a burger.

Some of my friends and family have an annual harvest festival in October. We “pit” roasted a pig in this artificial pit. Kune kune that was a year old. So delicious.

Hanks was started in 1946 if I'm not mistaken so I'm pretty sure they've changed hands unless Hank is flipping burgers at 120 yrs old. I ate there a few years back and it was still awesome, they were lined up out the door. My wife and I ordered a large fry to split and couldn't eat half of them.
Graduated from the old ECHS Admiral and Garnett Rd. Tulsa. Lunch time was always a race to get to Hanks Just West of the Mingo traffic circle on the North side of Admiral early enough to get one of the few seats in the small place. Last time I was in there a few years ago it was much bigger and Hanks Son was flipping out the smashburgers with onions on the griddle with the greasy fries. Seems the fry grease was different.
