I think in 20 years* we'll be referring to today as the "glory days" of firearms ownership.

* probably less

I'd say the Golden Age of firearms ownership died a long time ago. We're probably in the end of the Silver Age now.

In 20 years, I shudder to think what this country will look like if it keeps on the current path...

I wonder why democrats hate poor people so much? Making them purchase health insurance and now wanting to make them purchase additional insurance if they happen to have the desire to protect themselves from harm. Me thinks the insurance lobby has our govt. by the balls.

It will look like my former country of Canada. Nice enough to visit, but not someplace to live. Pussification of every male inhabitant is the norm there. It's happening here...

I think it's a great idea, and while we're at it, the Soviet Socialist Republik of Kalifornia can require dog owners to buy insurance for their dogs, based upon the breed's tendency to bite, insurance of baseballs, golfballs, etc., that may have a tendency to go wide and damage property, cans of spray paint, which may be used for vandalizing and require money to remove from public surfaces.

The possibilites are endless!

I am excited about this, and I would love to see many more taxes and premiums levied upon the Kalifornians so that they might be even happier.

Too bad about the fact that so many counties were red in 2012.
