Can someone loan me some money for .308 PMags?

Just came back from a feeding frenzy called a "gun show".
There was a DPMS LR308 on one of the tables for 5,000.00
That is NOT a type Five Thousand Dollars!!!!

So, I'm guessing getting a 10 pack of mags for a grand is a bargain.

I missed the boat on getting a .308 AR. I went ahead and back ordered some mags from Brownells just in case I somehow find one for a decent price.

I got REALLY lucky and bought mine at the end of November. Compared to today's prices, I think I got it free.

I had an early DPMS .308 back in 2006 I ended up with 10 mags. The rifle had jam problems and I traded it for a rifle I ended up selling for $700. I am kicking myself because I just gave the guy those 10 mags.

Never got into the 308 ar game. Had my eye on the lower Sooner Pawn had at their south store for months but never made that happen.

By the time i decided to go for it, it was after the election and 308 parts and mags were already hard to come by.

Had my eye on an LMT at Rainier but somebody beat me to it.

Think its a lost cause at this point.

Even when the 223 pmag supply seemed endless, the 308 mags supply seemed limited.

I was kinda hoping to get a Sig 716? at Academy they had one when I went there on the 24th but then Academy has got crazy so I've given up. Also could have got a DPMS from Mark but didn't. I shoulda bought a CMMG for $1100 around black Friday but never got around to it. Oh well if there's no ban I might get one some day.
