OU is fixing to get into the SEC gauntlet, they gonna have to pick it up or it's going to be a long season. The problem playing in the SEC is any given weekend you can get your butt kicked if not at the top of your game. Every team has the potential to kick your butt if you create just a little opening.

Joe Montana would've looked bad with the current OU Offensive line. Hard to believe OU's line can be this bad.
Yeah, the interior o-line play was really bad. They repeatedly double-teamed players just to let a rusher go through untouched. If they don’t get that fixed, it’s going to be a really long season.

On the plus side, the defense played well with the exception of a few plays.

If anyone knows where Ostate's offense has wandered off to, please let the coaching staff know lol.
You're a mod. Can you just find a way for this same comment to auto post every sunday morning for the next 9 weeks? It may be the most appropriate post regarding OSU FB this season.

Interesting article about the economic impact to Norman and surrounding areas from being in the SEC. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/com...31&cvid=898afe0c15564220aebac364397f4f77&ei=9

Meh, the extra monies coming into Norman and OKC is minimal. Room rates up 40%? Maybe but Tennessee fans need a place to stay when they travel the 11 hours to Norman for the game. The thing is, OU is a notable team and UTenn even more so this season so, sure it's a "big" game. Doesn't mean it has anything to do with being in the SEC. Any highly ranked team from any conference will bring more of the visitors fans. Take, Ohio State, USC, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State and many others will have a stong following thus long road trip or fly to watch the game. The longer distance you travel for games the longer your visit tends to be and again, that isn't an SEC thing. In the end, how many UTenn fans were at the game? Don't expect being in the SEC to solve any OKC Metro budget woes. Feel good story for sure but don't believe the hype.
