Wondering if there is just as much outrage in south bend this morning as there is here? I still can’t believe all this happening but seems like two juggernauts just got sucker punched.

This is Gibbs's 4th year at OSU as a Defensive analyst.
I had no idea.
Kind of ironic.
OU fans & school seems upset that coach quit the team for more money & advance career in a surprise announcement.
But OU quit the big 12 for the SEC for more money in a surprise announcement & lots of folks were ok with that…:)
yeah, I mentioned that too. Sounds like he was set to be announced the coach at lsu on Sunday at a brunch/lunch but went usc instead.

He just wanted out. Not a situation that OU and Notre Dame fans are used to being in.

Don’t think he wanted any part of the SEC. Regardless, hearing OU fans call him traitor & say are in a state of shock rings kinda hollow after the OU decision to leave the big 12.

He didn't say anything, so he didn't give them the chance to make a counter offer, so it wasn't the money. I tend to agree that he didn't want anything to do with the SEC. He was kinda blubbery and teary when he was doing the USC press conference, telling them how good OU was to him. Buyers Remorse?

What is Brian Kelly thinking? ND still has a shot at the National Championship. Michigan, Cincinnati, Alabama, and Oklahoma State have a good shot at losing (especially Alabama) their games this weekend. Any two of them lose, who knows?

Spencer Rattler could have been starting for OU next year, again. Everyone is thinking Caleb Williams will be heading out to USC. Makes you wonder . . .

I would question Williams going to SC. Riley will have the number 1 qb prospect in the country as he has already decommitted from OU AND he’s a California boy for next yr. Williams may well go back east closer to Washington DC his home. Clemson, Norte Dame, North Carolina, Penn State all have senior qbs this year.

Nelson is a 2023 recruit. He’s currently a junior in high school so he does need to fill the gap but who knows if that’s Williams
