and that transfer portal was 100% self-inflicted by the NCAA.
This could be solved immediately. Keep the transfer portal but if you do go to another school, you sit out a year. You don't lose eligibility and you basically are forced to redshirt a year. Each transfer, you sit a year. It would keep a lot of people from jumping to the "hot" team and would reduce multiple transfers.

It definitely has nothing to do with getting an education.
This old horse is kissing the whole thing goodbye. I’m all NFL . It’s regulated at least.

Simple solution if we would do it is quit watching or supporting them. I haven't watched pro football or basketball for years and fewer college games this year than ever. I realize that's not gonna happen but as long as the money is there nothing is going to change for the better.
I am almost to this point myself. My love for the game is diminishing quite rapidly. I say this as a season ticket holder.
