It's all just a bid to get cash out of people. The statute of limitations is like 15 years for rape, but they can hold a mistake made by the officer over your head for 20 years. I had insurance. I was never issued a ticket. How can my license be held in jeopardy for a non-offense?

I hate crap like this...reminds me of a time when a guy had me hold a car for him for a week since he was "taking it as is" with cash and then after waiting on him for a week he calls me last minute and says "never mind, I don't want it"

Oh wait, that was you, 71buickfreak.

Pay the fine and move on.

What? When and what was this? I do remember a deal that involved a third party that backed out, but I don't recall a deal when I backed out.

I am not going to pay a fine for something I am not in the wrong. I have NEVER driven a car without insurance. I am fighting this on principle.

I already answered you on your PM, but since it's here...

You wanted one of my Corvettes prior to me restoring it. It was a Triple Black '65 Convertible. We spoke at length on the phone multiple times and you wanted it. You said you needed the week to get the money together. We agreed on a price.

Since you said you'd "take it" I called my Mechanic off of it and hence it was off his schedule. After waiting a week you called me the night before you were to come pick it up and it wasn't until then that I knew that the "real" buyer was some mysterious "friend" that I had never spoken with. You then simply backed out.

I called my mechanic and got it rescheduled to get into his rotation for restoration (which took another couple weeks).

So, You cost me almost a Month with some BS "I'll take it" when I guess you were trying to fence it to someone else?

Maybe someone in the Oklahoma Attorney General's office can help you out. I know they do that with untagged Oklahoma trailers in other states. If they won't, call your rep and chew them up one side and down the other. The budget hasn't been voted on yet.

I was straight up with you from the beginning that I was setting the deal up for a friend. He had never backed out on a deal before, I got burned too as I was going to be doing the resto. I apologized then and I apologize now. It's been like 2 years, time to let go.

This is the FIRST time I've EVER mentioned it since you bailed (Last year). I thought I'd make a funny post #12 about it but you're dragging it out.

I obviously let it go since I hung up with you and moved on...sorry to call you out, but maybe it saves another seller on this forum.
