That sounds good, but thinking of trying with Turkey. Limited these days on how much beef.. so we’ve switched to Turkey Don’t know why I haven’t hit this thread before, some GREAT ideas.I'm thinking that I'm gonna try it with chorizo --- SO can't eat beef.

I use a packet of onion soup mix sprinkled on the roast, makes a nice sauce, not a gravy but mom used do do that. I just am not a gravy maker.And sh'rooms!!
I like to use golden mushroom soup to make the gravy.
Arm roast tonight just like that. Some chopped garlic, beef broth then onion soup mix. Add potatoes, carrots and mushrooms an hour before roast is done. Sunday after church lunch when growing up.
