I'm thinking that I'm gonna try it with chorizo --- SO can't eat beef.

That sounds good, but thinking of trying with Turkey. Limited these days on how much beef.. so we’ve switched to Turkey 🤷‍♂️ Don’t know why I haven’t hit this thread before, some GREAT ideas. 👍

I use a packet of onion soup mix sprinkled on the roast, makes a nice sauce, not a gravy but mom used do do that. I just am not a gravy maker.
Arm roast tonight just like that. Some chopped garlic, beef broth then onion soup mix. Add potatoes, carrots and mushrooms an hour before roast is done. Sunday after church lunch when growing up. Mom would make gravy though.

we have just tried this is roast and it did not disappoint, we have been using these products for different recipes for a few years they seem to work good.
Sautéed Onion Base - Better Than Bouillon
