I can tell you! My doctor for the past 14 years that I've been extremely satisfied with is leaving public practice because of it. She told me last week that due to some of the changes already implemented, her work days as a GP in the office have gone to 16 hours, all in order to comply with the papwerwork requirements. She said that many of the duties assigned to her nurse can no longer be performed without a MD license.

She's leaving to go to a practice that sees only patients from a specific set of companies and she'll no longer have to deal with insurance at all.

My son sells medical equipment in Ok. And Tx.
Since Obama care has passed, his sales have plummeted. Doctors are leaving their practices, or going to work for hospitals, so they don't have to deal with the mountains of paperwork.

Your doc isn't the only one. My physician went to the research side a couple years ago when Obamacare was still being debated. He said he just didn't want the headaches if it passed. Another guy I work with says his doctor is quitting over it. This whole thing has more problems attached to it than solutions.
