There's a brick wall just outside my front door. I'm going to go bang my head against it. Back in a few.

Even sadder thing is... I've seen at least 3 now with the same "disability". No shame or problem admitting it, either... just a matter-of-fact thing.

We're really and truly screwed, folks. :(

You prolly seen one of my idiot family that sponges off the gov as well. Im not happy about the our Nations healthcare situation but i am a realist.

The havenots voted and won obamacare now we have to deal with it. I think we can get the bad parts fixed and keep the good parts. We're gonna have to pay eitherway, whether the fat girl that cant read is considered disabled or not.

Its gonna suck and we're gonna bear the burden.

If I as a parent had to support my healthy child until they are 25, I've failed as a parent.
You agree that there is no reason to tax everyone, but that is what this whole bill is about. Tax the working people to support the part of our society that lives on entitlements.
I'll agree, that some have no choice, but the majority of the "benefits" are going to the lame and lazy.
I have family members that are 100% disabled, that have got along just fine without obamacare using the current programs in force.

I never looked at raising kids as success or failure. I also never bought into the 18 your on your own thing. My kids are what they are. Individuals. One daughter (25)matured up quick, went to college got married and lives at home with us. They pays nothing but their miniscule bills. They also have a huge amout of money saved to buy a house and land.

My other daughter (23) droped out of HS with 2 weeks to go, got a job, got married to a great guy and they got an apartment. I raised them the same, told them i would pay for college and get them on their feet. My youngest took the hard road and doesnt want daddys help. My oldest took my offer.

Have i failed or succeeded?

How could I comment on that situation? I don't know and never will know the family structure in your particular case.
Some kids emulate their parents, some kill them.
I do certainly believe that if a child can't make it on their own by the age of 18-21 there may be underlying issues. It may not be the total fault of parenthood.
In my parents case, I was on my own at 19 making a living with benefits, going to college, and engaged. 21st birthday spent in a muddy foxhole with a kid on the way.
Did my parents do it right?

Im jus givin ya a hard time.

Its a crappy hand we've been dealt(obamacare) but we're at the table and we're in the game. Surely we'll lose a hand but if we're patient we can win the game. Obamacare needs tweaked, so lets figure out how instead of going all in on a crappy hand.

Where is she working for SJM that allows you to live in BA?

On topic: Push it through, they voted for it, make it happen Cap'n. Politicians vote for the dumbest sh*t and then when they realize its a bad idea try and cover their mistakes. Made your bed, now lay in it.
Like all the other device companies here in town they don't have a local office but they all work in most of the local/regional hospitals doing implants, etc.
