Did anyone sell Christmas cards when they were a kid?

I did, door to door. Personalized. I think they were like $1.99 / box. I know I sold some and delivered them. But I have no idea how old I was or even if I made any money. I just remember they had glitter on them and you would have some personalized message put on them.
I wonder if Rush sold those when he was a kid?:smash:

Yep, holiday cards and wrapping paper through the company that ran the ads on the last page of Boy's Life and comic books. I earned money to buy Christmas presents for family by selling door to door. One of my first jobs in high school was selling shoes at the mall and doing that was EASY after doing door to door sales as a kid, so while I didn't make much I learned people skills that I'm likely still using today.

I sold Christmas cards for several years. Can't remember the company name.. cards were imprinted with name & address.

My first job was shining shoes.(Not counting the Christmas cards).
I loved National Guard week end. I made beauceaup money that week. Spit shines were 50 cents.
