Didn't isolate a particular state. Just a general question. Hacker I know that but they can get around it for "public safety". Assume they would do it to prevent vigilantes and armed thugs... I doubt they will personally...

Honestly, you can 'what if' your way into just about any imaginable outcome, but that doesn't make it any more likely to occur.

LOL, I can say that I was there in New Orleans as a member of the OK National Guard after Katrina and we did not confiscate firearms from people that were law abiding, ie not looting, vandalizing, etc.

On the other hand, many other organizations were present, especially later on (+4-5 days), who did things I didn't agree with.

The NOPD, well thats another story...

The national guard is the least of your worries in my opinion.
