It's the social issues keeping people from voting Republican. If they'd drop the damn gay marriage and ease up on the abortion business they could've won tonight. Butthurt coming.

I'm not so sure that's completely it... obviously the moderates making up 40% of the electorate is an issue but minorities are also driving the voting now and to some extent the female vote was in play tonight as well. I do agree that it's the social issues, but I think it covers immigration as well and obviously the AA vote is significantly in Obama's camp.

Virginias pretty close too. I can see a recount/lawsuit there also.
