How ice evaporates? lol
Several people I talked to in the last few days didnt know ice will evaporate in the extreme cold dry air outside. It was kinda funny the looks I got.

I didnt pay much attention in school lol. I learned this as a kid, there was a really big and long ice sickle hanging over the patio and I got it off and wanted to keep it so I put it in the freezer and kinda forgot it for about 3 weeks. Went to get it and it was 1/3 the size it used to be. I accused mom of playing a trick on me and then dad explained how it evaporated. I was blown away. LOL

Sounds good to me. Prob learned it in high school in the 70’s, but didn’t think about it or remember it. Would be easy to prove it outside with the crappy weather this week.

Proven last night, my driveway and street was solid thin ice last night and its completely clear right now.
