This stuff from your local beauty supply store works great for whiter than white skulls. Mix it to a paste with 40 vol peroxide, let it sit 24 than brush off. Put skull in sun.

Brush it on the whole skull, teeth etc. It will be like toothpaste when you brush it on. After 24 hours, brush it off. Even Van Dykes Taxidermy has how-to's and endorse it.

If you are going to use the paste, I'd suranwrap (sp?) the head after you have it good and coated. It'll whiten better and longer because it won't dry out.

This is impressive. However, my wife and have an undersanding. I boil a head in the house and she shoots me.

There is a taxidermist in Davis who will do this pretty reasonably, and my next nice one will likely go there.

Still, I admire your skill and determination.

Thanks critical. I pulled him out of the peroxide after 24 hours and think I'm good with calling him complete besides brushing his teeth.
