Care to share which lake that was?

Normally I’d be happy share that info, but not in this specific instance. the two people I have told somehow morphed into me having to find a new place to park and dodging stranger’s lures with lots of treble hooks.

It was not in a lake though.

I was on Kaw a couple days ago. Water temps are still low and the crappie aren't in the shallows yet. They are drawing down Kaw in anticipation of spring rains that usually turn the fishing off with water elevations being 30' over normal elevation during late spring.
If the drought continues, maybe they will get a spawn this year.

Was at the lake at sunrise this morning. Fished for a few hours. Did OK. Got into some crappie and sandbass.
