A couple 4 year old boys will be talking about this trip for the rest of the month! One of the boys drove the boat out toward the American Flag. "I got one!" one of the boys shouted before everyone had poles in the water! It was nonstop action until 26 fish were in the boat, and one of the boys wanted a break. I gave him the counter and put him in charge of counting all of the fish that went in the livewell. Pretty soon we had something like 46, 61 and last I saw, I was sure we would be in trouble with the game wardens having 917 fish. LOL! Great times for sure!

No sir, I don't guide. It is all about the time spent on the water learning about the lake, the fish and the habits of the fish in different conditions. I appreciate the compliments.

Went out for saugeye today and came home with a little of everything. Caught them all on a chartreuse/black plastic curly tail jig on 8lb test line. So thankful I had that and not my normal 4lb test for crappie because the flathead fought hard. Also caught a 16 1/2” saugeye and a couple of 10” ones.

Hit the ponds today. Lots of bites, few takers. A bass, 2 perch. Did let the air out of a cotton mouth with the 40. First time to hit the bang switch since the EnS.
