Wife and I caught a few at Lake Elmer this morning; one nice sunny on a worm, several bass on a ned rig, and a nice catfish on a worm.

Haskell lake was like glass this morning and a bit busier than normal, Heroes On The Water were there being totally awesome! I visited with several of them briefly and they`re a great bunch of folks...

I caught a decent sized Gill on a fly that a friend tied for me nearly 20 years ago trying to get me interested in fly fishing, sadly he passed away in 2011 and I just picked up Tenkara this last Spring...

Need I say more? My wife loved the bass!
We also had hush puppies, grilled asparagus, corn on the cob, salad and of course sweet tea.
Needless to say, bass will be on the menu more often, which means we get to go fishing a little more often.
