Caught these out of the Salt Fork this morning.
Looks like the water is getting low. Good thing you rescued the fish!
Yep, the river is really low, but it’s still running good. Being low, you can see how many carp are in it, and there’s A BUNCH.

It was hot, and fishing was tough today.
Time to get that bow out and shoot some. No need for a reel in that shallow water.
Tuesday I made a quick run over to the East end of Beaver lake for a little fishing on the fly, no Smallies but I did catch about 2 dz Sunnies and even caught a few at night...
On the way home I stopped at the 23 bridge access on the War Eagle for a little wade fishing and caught a few Sunnies there as well...

I went to Bass Pro this morning to pick up a pair of line clippers because I dropped my other pair in Beaver lake the other day and of course I took my Tenkara rod
and while I was there I felt compelled to sling a few flies and that little lake didn`t disappoint...
