I found another vintage Zebco 33 Spinner last Saturday at Redbear`s in Bixby (60`s era), after a good cleaning the action is smooth and ready to fish...



I had a 60`s era rod that I took an emery board and lightly brushed the years off of the cork, added a fresh coat of Krylon gloss black and replaced the wonky top eye...





I caught one dink on it yesterday and now I`ll probably retire it to the rack...

I made a quick trip up this morning to fill feeders and check cameras one more time before season opens, and I took time this evening to wet a hook in the river. I caught 20 but only 3 were keepers.

I spent most of the day yesterday fishing Strayhorn point on Tenkiller lake and I probably caught two dozen or more little Sunnies and two little Smallmouth using my Tenkara rod throwing a 1/200 Trout Magnet...





My 1st Smallmouth this year and first on a fly rod...





Late yesterday afternoon the wind picked up enough that I put up the fly rod and picked up my ultralight rigged with a Rebel Craw and just before dark I caught my personal best Smallmouth and the last fish of the day...

Took my wife fishing this morning, and she caught a very nice carp, along with a 7 pound channel cat. No picture of the channel cat. Background and lighting was bad.

I had a few minute to kill before they opened the doors at Bass Pro this morning so I got out the Tenkara and caught this little chunk on a 2.5" Red Trout worm...

I tried using a traditional fly rod for the first in over 20 years this morning, it wasn`t pretty but it was effective. I caught 4 little Bass and called it a day...
