Civil war is where multiple factions are vying to control the same government. The south wanted nothing to do with the government sitting in D.C., ergo a rebellion, not a civil war.
The South wanted to preserve slavery, pure and simple. Slavery was bitterly debated from the Three-fifths Compromise, to the Missouri Compromise, to the Compromise of 1850, to the Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854. When Lincoln was elected in 1860, the states of the South began to secede from the union, believing there was no other way to preserve slavery. Call it what you like, the world knows it as the American Civil War.
If all these scum bag celebrities and others than claim we have to ban guns to save the kids actually wanted to save kids then why aren’t they doing everything in their power to stop abortion? I guess to them it’s ok to murder a baby by crushing it’s skull or by sucking its brains out. That doesn’t outrage them though. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. And to all y’all on here that keep saying nothing is gonna happen; I hope your right but I just don’t have a good feeling. The left is gonna pour every dollar they can into getting what they want this time around. And now we even have Trump pushing for more gun control. And we can’t count on the nra to help. They are part of the problem. These kids are being used and will be used to the very end to achieve the lefts goal. Even when sandy hook happened I don’t remember this many kids getting involved. And I sure don’t remember them marching around the country. This is as serious as it can get. Everyone’s emotions are being used to further the lefts ideals. Why do you think the left is stepping up so much this time around? They are going for broke. I don’t have faith in our government to do the right thing. Since when do they do that?
The Election of 2016 divided this country like no issue has since the Viet Nam war. The Left was sure it was going to win with Hillary, and they were both thoroughly surprised and bitterly disappointed when that did not happen. That frustration had to go somewhere. Their plan is to sweep the 2018 mid-terms and take the presidency back in 2020, and they will use every means at their disposal to achieve their goals. The Parkland school shooting played right into their hands. Here were kids from a very affluent community, intelligent and articulate, and witnesses to a massacre of their friends and classmates. Rush them in front of the cameras when their emotions are still raw and watch them embrace gun control. The Left couldn't have dreamed of a better opportunity to go after the gun-toting Trump voters that had snatched the presidency away from them in 2016.
They may be intelligent and articulate, but they certainly are not learned. That makes them ideal useful idiots.

Let it never be forgotten that the kid in JROTC showed more courage than the on-duty veteran police officer, and more faithfulness to honor and duty than any governmental actor in the entire affair for the past six years.
However, this is February and the mid term elections aren't until November. The question then is, "Will those likely to vote Democratic Party still even remember this?"
We all seem to understand that those on the left aren't really all that smart. At least, not as smart as they think they are.
