Although I posted this earlier, I'm skeptical until the story is confirmed. I have a couple of 10 round AR mags but I don't think they're common and what bag could he have would hold a minimum of 15 10 round mags that wouldn't hold fewer 20 or 30 round mags that are common? The malfunction would explain his escape rather than his death by police or by his own hand.
