The educational power structure is based on the idea that education is an unmitigated good that eliminates violence. When violent incidents occur in schools this creates cognitive dissonance for educational and leftist leaders. Instead of questioning their utopian thinking, they must find someone or something to blame....typically conservatives and the NRA. Logic flies out the window.... otherwise they would be forced to admit that their flawed thinking set up the conditions favoring violence by neutering the power of teachers to defend those in their care.

Multiple students saying to multiple, (apparently) independent media outlets that they all thought that this specific kid would do something like this; additionally, he'd been expelled, and the administration had e-mailed staff warning that he'd brought ammunition to school.
The kid was a known quantity, but nobody did anything meaningful about it.

Just like the kid in our neighborhood who brought an actual firearm to school... personally haven't heard anything else about it.
If you're planning on turning a profit on a dozen guns, I will cheer if you get caught.
What can be done, legally that is? I'm truly curious how something is done without being a police state.
These events make me feel so sad; of course because people do this to each other, and also because of the mindless screaming about gun control that comes from people who'd rather tweet and worry about kardasians.

Watched a blonde lady on Fox last night say (Well if this kid showed all these signs couldn't they have just got a restraining order). With that kind of thinking she should have just protest fire drills.
