My lone watermelon plant is also starting to turn yellow and die off from the oldest areas outward. I've heard poor drainage can be the cause of that. I don't have the loosest soil in my garden bed, so that could be the problem. I really just planted it hoping I could get a watermelon or two for my daughter to enjoy, since it was a part of the bed that I wasn't actively using.

Our container tomatoes are doing the same, but the raised bed ones are still producing so I'm thinking it's just the heat/soil temp and that is just a wild guess.

I planted my tomatoes in 12 gallon buckets with the bottom cut out, so they are kind of a mix of container and raised bed. I'm sure the soil temp in the buckets is pretty warm.

First batch of onion broth. Will have 18 pints when finished. Would make a good marinade , add to stews, French dip.
