As an Independent insurance agent, I can say that as an agent I am not happy with the direction Travelers is taking as a company. I have always had great claim response out of them for my clients. However; it seems as if they have had a fundamental change in their thinking. I'm lucky I have many and better companies that I have been moving my Travelers clients to.

Many other companies are having a tough time right now with Homeowners insurance. The last two years was not kind to them. On the plus side... everyone around here now has a new roof, and should be good for a few years..lol

Ever wonder why rates are as high as they are? Because folks cant quit suing the insurance companies when things don't go their way, for one. An insurance company is a private business. They have every right to insure who they want, when they want.

I agree when they are right. In this case they are not. Glad I all I have to do is pay the Vet visit and get them that letter. A lot cheaper then a money hungry attorney.

Our insurance co. dropped us after they paid to replace our roof this summer. I heard they are dropping alot of people. At least they paid for a new roof. More than I can say for State Farm,will NEVER have them again either.

Seems like they don't care if they loose customers. Maybe enough bad publicity will change their minds (ha ha). I say screw em. They will get their bail-out soon i'm sure, then they can drop everyone who has ever had a claim.:finger: Then they will have "perfect" customers, and they won't have to pay any claims, and they will make LOTS of money.

Remember you said that when they refuse to cover a life saving treatment for your sick kid. Or when they want to use substandard parts on your auto repair. Or when they deny you you coverage even though they have gladly taken your money for years.

In all seriousness, for the life of me I don't know why people dislike attorneys so much. A good one is worth their weight in gold.
