What is your point? As long as it's the law then it's cool? What if you had to get a license to go to the church you wanted to go to? It would be just like driving a car right?

Guess what, we don't have to have a license to go to the church we want. We do, however, to carry a concealed weapon. Try all you like, you can't argue fact.

I'll say it again, I DONT MAKE THE LAWS. Don't move the goalposts. Stay on topic.

How are they not the same thing? The 2A says keep and BEAR. That means carry.

Don't argue with me, argue with the ones who made the CC laws. As the laws exist, they are nothing alike. One of those laws exists, one doesn't. It's that simple. That doesn't make it right, but right now those are the rules of the house.

Get off my lawn.

But you'd be OK with it if we did though right. After all, it would be the law at that point. Just answer the question. I need to know where you stand on the constitution. Is it OK to abridge some parts and not others or is it OK to abridge the whole thing?

Because you will fail at this again in your next post I will explain the relevancy of my question. You opened this can of worms by comparing carrying a gun to driving a car and the laws surrounding both. This shows your lack of understanding for the Constitution. I'm just trying to find out where you stand on this issue. If my questions are off topic (in my thread, lol) than your initial post was off topic and caused this thread to derail. Why do you insist on making posts that are completely irrational and nonsensical? Stop derailing my thread. Why are you so adamant about your position, after all you used the lame devil's advocate excuse in your initial post to give yourself the out that you've refused to take after you were proven wrong.

Not to mention more money for US Shooting Academy.

Or any training facility, but that is not why I feel the way I do. I have seen bullets put in mags backwards, the entire line being muzzled, limpwristing with a two hand gripping the gun, people not knowing their gun has a safety, on a five shot string at five yards with only three shots on paper, just to mention a few. Of course we correct these things on the line. I am all for the 2nd amendment, so dont think Im not. My self and many others, including many from outside USSA, feel that carrying a gun in public or anywhere, is a right given to us by the constitution, but having such a right requires a resposibility to do so in a safe and educated manner. The sda classes do a good job in the classroom going over laws, situations and carry gear, but just dont allow enough trigger time.

Absolutely not. I didn't fail at anything. Did my initial post have your name on it anywhere? Sure didn't.

You FAIL at understanding that LAWS exist. I didn't say it was right to abridge anything...wrong. I can't make my point anymore clearly. I'm adamant because there are laws regarding both driving and carrying a gun...are there not? Did I miss something? Do you not want to follow laws that exist? Do you not want to be responsible? If not, change the law. Run for office. The people we elected introduced this legislation...that's how you change laws.

I already posted where I stand, please re-read carefully. I think it's about time Oklahoma had legislation such as HB 3354. I can't believe that Vermont was ahead of us in this respect.
