Guess I screwed the previous post up. Short story my Rep. Guy Liebmann voted for this bill first and second time today if yours didn't you might want to send them an e-mail with your name and address expressing your displeasure with their vote in case we need to override a veto.

I'm surprised at the number of people who think training should be *required*. . .sorta like we have to get training before going to church, or writing a book, or voting.

Is that uncomfortable? Yes, sometimes it is. I don't like people attending militant Muslim mosques, or writing books filled with hate and bigotry. . .but a right is a right is a right.

So, what does anyone think that Henry will do--sign it, veto it or let it become law without his signature?

If he doesn't sign it, it is called a "pocket veto". He sticks the bill in his pocket and forgets about it. No signature (or override vote), no law.

Edit: that applies to *after* the session is completed. Law states he has 5 working days to either sign it or veto it. . .dunno what happens after that if Congress is still in session.

Thats a scary thaught. S O a couple ccw classes. That is the only instruction some folks have ever had with a gun. I think that some should be required to get further training before getting a permit.

Life is scary, I'm more worried about a car wreck doing me in than a gunshot
