I'd just go with the one that has the best sights, and the one I find most comfortable to shoot... metric pattern FAL.
G3s are OK, but their stocks are uncomfortable in the prone position IMO. That bulge where the stock rises near the receiver always knocks me in the cheekbone, no matter how solid of a shoulder pocket/cheek weld/turkey neck I have. Plus the sights are not adjustable and they are a pain to mount a scope to. Those claw mounts don't work very well in my experience.
G3s are very reliable, but so is a FAL. The G3 is probably a little more inherently accurate, but it's not by much. One thing it really has going for it is that G3 mags are dirt cheap. The cheapest for any mag-fed center fire.
