'Bout time! Horses have been taunting me long enough, standing there looking all juicy and stuff.

Horse.... Not too worried! Heck I eat Chinese food in china town.... I know that ain't horse meat!!!
More screwed up sensibilities..It's protein and it used to be a fairly commonly consumed meat.

It's really just an aesthetics issue. Not harmful at all. It's just we think of horses in much the same way we think of of dogs and cats, more as pets. We don't usually think of cows, pigs, or chickens as anything more than food, so it's not horrifying when we eat beef, pork, or a nice piece of white meat. A Trigger steak, Molly fritters, or Mama Kitty stir fry, on the other hand... HORRORS!!!

I'm all for the eating of horses. I remember when I was a kid and horses were allowed to be butchered all horses were worth at least $800 and papered horses brought at least $2000, then the liberals got their way and banned the slaughter of horses. People had to pay others to take or give away unwanted horses and people began to starve unwanted horses. Horses are 1400 lb animals with lots of lean meat, not sure of the taste but cant be much worse than some of the crap we eat these days. Hard to believe but eating horses is the humane thing to do. I'd eat it, Ive ate worse.
