So is the warden. Glad we have people classy enough to shame him into guilt for something he didn't do - guilt of taking a human life at that. I'm sure he feels really great about the whole freaking deal, don'tcha know? Oklahoma is a small place and this board is read by many ODWC employees.

A guy died as a result of his own actions. That's sad, but sadder yet is to assign blame to someone else. There's some weird thing where if you die as a result of your own poor decisions, we must pretend all poor decisions you made were the fault of someone who is still living. Dead people never did no wrong no how.

No we wouldn't. I've been in a similar position as the warden. I was operating a vehicle within the law and was involved in a collision with a driver who was not. I still have the police report saying I was operating legally, and I've never spent a night in jail. Warden was operating legally. Other driver was not. Pretty simple.

It a simple fix! Hire a few pilots to patrol certain areas you’re having issues with. It safer and a hell of a lot more effective and the end of the night. It’s not that hard! Stop making excuses for stupid procedures that lead to this kid’s death. Someone just lost a kid needlessly!
