I lost my job to a YouTube prank channel called okcpranks.

Now we have the rest o

i understand the situation now. Guy uncaps the fuel tank and demonstrates it’s empty.
LEO was correct in saying that would not be a good shoot.
Now we have the rest of the story.
Empty gas tank = toy gun. Still a reasonable perceived threat.

Wow! That’s wild. Sorry for the frustrating situation, hope you find work. Any construction experience? Not easy work but decent money can be made.

These types of “pranks” aren’t even funny… just cringy and dangerous. I enjoy actual funny YouTube pranksters like Ed Bassmaster. Not this crap that borders on assault/intimidation. Dude needs to get a real job and give up YouTube pranks before someone finally ventilates his azz.

There was a YouTube "prankster" who got ventilated earlier this year doing another stupid intimidation "prank." You'd think that would be a deterrent, but I guess morons gonna moron.

Looks like you’ve got a bunch of input on your job, the moron who thinks these really lame pranks are fun, and your actions. I feel like the big thing now is finding work. You’re in luck though, many places will just about hire for entry level on the spot, even without it being the holiday season.

You say you aren’t afraid to work with your hands and get dirty, and that you typically work in retail.
What are you skills?
Where do you WANT to work?
What do you like to do?
Does your wife still have a job?
Do you have reliable transportation, and what part of the city do you live in?

Reason #11,927 I avoid public places in larger cities.

It really sucks this happened to you. I wish there was something more that could be done.

BTW...it's perfectly normal to be arrested, even after a good shoot. It sounds odd, I know, but that's the way it is. Collecting and analyzing all the evidence takes time. You should always expect it to happen if you ever use your gun in self defense, especially if someone dies.

Believe me when I tell you Ada and the surrounding area is full of them.
