This is Mason. He was dropped off in the ditch with his brothers and sisters as a pup at a friend of my girlfriends place. He was skinny and had fleas in a bad way.

Here he is a year later

Mason pretty laid back guy. Likes to chase the stray cats outside, follows me EVERYWHERE, goes EVERYWHERE with me (would go to work with me if they would let me), rides in the back of the truck, and minds very well.

She looked happy and contended there. I'm sorry for your loss.

I came to the conclusion last year it's best to have at least three dogs; if one passes away, the other two still have each other until you can add a new third to the mix.

My Rory will not put up with another dog, she is the Queen here. Fostered an old male Border Collie two years ago and it was a battle between the two until he got his new home. What was interesting to watch was the Male, Tux, and sweet as could be, was his name was owned by an old woman who had to go to a nursing home. Well, friends near Blackwell, my age, have a farm and lost their dog. He wanted another, the Mrs. did not, but they took Tux. Now, Tux is the Mrs. dog from day one, he never left her side from the minute they got home.

This picture was taken outside the vet's office. The vet even came outside to give her a sedative before we took her inside.

One last thing and that is we love dogs, and dogs ARE our best friends. We all know that kids. As I type this my Rory is in her area controlling the squirrels and all who come down the street. I would post pics but too lazy to learn how to do so, but ask BB and GC if Rory RULES! LOL!

If we didn't live in an apartment I would have had one of these little guys. The Mrs. almost brought one home anyway! lol
