I'll be lighting the fire at 12:30 as soon as I get back from the Zoo. Yes I know I'm violating a Sooner Tradition of being planted for the full game. But its nice weather and its time with the Mrs. and Son.

The worst part is these ribs are for after church on Sunday. Oh well. It will be time well spent.

I have dinner at my dad's house tomorrow night and church Sunday morning.

I'll have just enough time between the Zoo and leaving for my dad's to get these smoked and into the fridge.

The brisket flat is for the Mrs and I. make some good BBQ sandwiches out of it.

The Zoo was great this morning. Perfect weather. Now I'm sitting in my recliner waiting for the next two hours to go by. At 5:30 the ribs will come out of the foil and have another 30 or so minutes of heat before getting pulled.

And they smell oh so good. I can't wait to pull that foil apart in 2 hours.
