Jack A. from OKCGC

If anyone knows Jack A. from OKCGC (the guy who sends out the e-mails for work days), ask him to virus scan his computer. I just received an e-mail supposedly from him asking to borrow money to get back from Spain. Since I have only met him once I seriously doubt he would ask this and feel his e-mail account has been hacked or he has a virus. Either way I am pretty sure it is a scam. I am checking mine just to be sure too.

This is a well known scam. Did he ask you to wire the money to him in some fashion like Western Union?

Have some fun with this. Reply back and appear to be completely inept at what to do. Frustrate them as much as possible. Maybe even jerk them around a bit Let us know how it goes

I didn't get an email from JackA, but I got hacked or had a virus. Tuesday evening, I got a bunch of 'undeliverable' notices for e-mails that I didn't send. Last night, I got a response to an e-mail regarding a gunbroker auction that I sent on June 28th (I still had the original), but it was dated August 22nd. Needless to say, my anti-virus got a work-out last night after all that. Everything seems normal this evening.

I got that email from Jack and immediately called him since I had just talked with him at length the evening before while at OKCGC. I think Jack got LOTS of phone calls that morning since there are 1900+ members.
