I love them. I do think you should watch them in chronological order with Night Passage before Stone Cold and then they are chronological by release date. Though they are not really sequels, things that happen are referred to later.

Most definitely. :thumb:

The only reason they did Stone Cold first was because Selleck had that book first and loved the story line and the character driven portrayal of Jesse, Suit and Molly. Of course, in the books, Molly Crane is a blond Irish-Catholic mother of four.

In the movies, Molly is portrayed by the awesome Viola Davis, who is definitely NOT a blond, Irish-Catholic. :rolleyes2

This is intriguing. I will look into this. Some say episodes and others say watch this one before that one so I am confused. Is this a series of movies or is this a TV show?

EDIT: Just googled and saw they are movies.

Anyone care to list the full order they should be watched in? So far I think I've got:

Night Passage
Stone Cold
Death in Paradise
Sea Change
Thin Ice
No Remorse
Innocents Lost
Benefit of the Doubt

Is that correct? Benefit of the doubt was released this year according to the site I pulled my info from. Straight to DVD?

Is there any where one might go to rent these or is buying the only option? Dont have Netflix and I'm not interested in doing it. I've done it before and prefer redbox.

Had to bring this thread back. Always wanted to watch this series just never got around to it. Plus my mom kept telling me about it and she got on my nerves with it so that made me not want to watch it for a while. I got in the mood last night and watched the first two and now 3-4 tonight. So far have been netflix streaming but 5-8 aren't available to stream so will have to wait for the DVDs. Anyway great series and yes I'm hooked!

However, I just had to say that Jesse pulls in the women like crazy. Man I swear he's got women after him all the time. It may seem exaggerated with me watching them this close together, but each show he's got like five women throwing themself at him, I just found it amusing :drunk5:

This was all listed as a marathon yesterday on directv. I set it up to record and what happens? I get a marathon of Mr. Ed.

You know, I used to set my dvr to record The Good Wife ... I ALWAYS wound up with 30 minutes of the Amazing Race and 30 minutes of The Good Wife ... :grumble: Aggravated the fool outta me ... So ... I just don't watch The Good Wife anymore ...
