Just curious, am I the only one who doesn't want to shop with my cell phone?

Well, at least you're making baby steps. :D
(just messing with you)

I'm not actually sure I'm making baby steps even lol. I'd just as soon not have it at all.

I've always hated talking on the phone, ever since I was a kid, but I've gotten alot better about calling people. For the longest time, I never called anyone, even if they called me.

I just about had to have the thing in the Navy was the only reason I have it at all.

Other than the hundreds of learning sources I use on the internet(youtube and forums mainly) I don't really get interested in electronic technology period. At least the 010101011100101 kind anyway.

For the record, I aimed this thread mainly at posts like the classifieds section here and craigslist type postings. I just don't get why you post an item to sale if you don't want to include anything about the item in a form that's not going to cost people money(i.e. weirdos like me).

I guess I'll just have to route questions about sale items like that to my mom, with her expensive azz cell phone plan. Then she can post it to facebook, and then I'll be able to see it lol.

My worst nightmare.
Being jostled by unknown people, and the rudness of most just make for a bad day...I'll do my shopping on the net, and leave the hoards for those that enjoy that type of thing.

Sorry Dennis, didn't mean to bump into you. Only kidding. I also like to handle the product before I purchase. But, living in the thriving metropolis of Ponca City, the internet is sometimes the only way to get the product you want. Example, I'm looking to buy a Zippo hand warmer. Would like to handle one before I purchase. Can I find it here in Ponca? NO! Even the smoke shops that sell Zippo lighters don't know what they are.

I bet you still have a land line, too? :D Don't talk about being irresponsible if you're still paying a phone company.

I like my land line and I hate my cell phone. The minute I get home,it goes off.My land line....

1)Doesn't need to be charged, well it stays charged because they all live on chargers.
2)Has way better sound quality than any little tiny cell phone speaker.Maybe someday Dr. Bose will change that.
3)Only costs 20 something bucks a month w/unlimited long distance and other features, about what I pay for a couple of meals.

Majic Jack costs less for one year, than your land line does for one month. :thumb:

You've brought up Magic Jack a couple times now. IIRC, Magic Jack requires a cable internet connection(technically anything >128kbps, per their website).

My cable internet IS a staple in my household. However, it's like $25-35 a month(can't remember exactly) so what would the technical added benefit of Magic Jack be vs. a land line or cell phone if you didn't use the internet?
