If you didn't have internet, I guess there wouldn't be much of a benefit to it. However, most everyone I know has broadband internet, so piggybacking Magic Jack on it for less than $2 a month makes a lot of sense. Saves me a lot of money each year vs. having a land line.You've brought up Magic Jack a couple times now. IIRC, Magic Jack requires a cable internet connection(technically anything >128kbps, per their website).
My cable internet IS a staple in my household. However, it's like $25-35 a month(can't remember exactly) so what would the technical added benefit of Magic Jack be vs. a land line or cell phone if you didn't use the internet?
