We spent 10 days there back in 1995 as they were dedicating the Vietnam Memorial and the first Rolling Thunder Rally (I think it was the 1st). We stayed in a hotel right behind the Air Museum on C Street. We got up every day and really hoofed it all day and barely saw all we wanted to see. I think the Holocaust Museum was the highlight for me. Got to see John Denver live on the Lawn too. Didn't have a Harley at that time but Rolling Thunder impacted me so much that I had one three years later. You gotta go back!!!
