Then clanged some steel with the glocks. Grabbed a video right before we left.

Went at daybreak again this morning and sent 100 rounds of my 230 gr FMJRN 45 ACP downrange at the 25 yd. gongs with my Ruger SR1911......I just never seem to get tired of the Bang ! Clang !.

Went again early this morning and ran 100 rounds of 45 ACP through my Remington R1-S at the 25 yd. gongs......not a soul on the range but me.

Went again early this morning and put 100 rounds through my Springfield Armory 45 ACP 1911......still can't see good enough after the eye surgery to shoot the 6" gong but the 8 incher was just plum worn out when I pulled out of the gate.

I put a few downrange on Sunday afternoon. The 10/22 takedown still amazes me. I have to remove the scope so it will fit in the backpack. With no adjustments, every round went where it was supposed to. I got to test a couple of newly acquired pieces and they passed with flying colors. Overall, it was a good day at the range.

Yesterday. I took out a new to me Rossi .357 lever rifle and my Blackhawk with the 9mm cylinder . Had fun and got two free ticks. Is this a great country or what ?

I got multiple free ticks helping my brother build a new hunting blind to let friends let their kids try to get a deer, or maybe a snowy day, or us after retirement when we don't want to feel the cold.

Just no shooting, unless you want to count fly swatter time with horse flies?
