As for liking Speysides, yeah, I do. Actually, it's a tossup between Speysides and Islays on what I'll go to first. I keep meaning to make sure that I've got at least one good single malt from each region on-hand.
The Balvenie was a gift that I received today and am very thankful for, so it was almost a given that I would go with it. Almost, because I had to decide what cigar I wanted to pair it with.
I'm more of a bourbon guy so I would have gone with the Blanton's.
I'd have a cigar.
