Maybe keeping a headache log is what triggers your headaches??? LOL!!!

Seriously though, I feel for migraine sufferers. My mom suffers from them frequently. I know it really sucks.

 Don't think that hasn't crossed my mind a couple of times ... Back when they were at their worst I was having migraine headaches, tension headaches and on really really good days we could throw in a few cycles of cluster headaches into the mix.

It took a while but once I started refusing medication (22 prescriptions, over half of which were antidepressents, anti-anxiety and pain meds is a little much for anyone who is not a terminal cancer patient, IMHO) things got a lot better. Then I started just paying attention to my body. It took a while, but until we got rear-ended in April I was actually doing pretty good. I had gone from literally have one type of headache or another pretty much constantly to 3 or 4 a month! :yikes2:

You realize that the majority of mercury we are subjected to comes from the burning of coal. When you use a CFL, even if you cracked it open and dumped out the mercury at the end of it's life, it would contribute less overall mercury to the environment than an incandescent would do to the incandescent requiring so much more coal to be burned.

They have their uses, just not everywhere. Sure would be a PITA in my garage as I have a 'lot' of lights out there. BTW, I am replacing 'about' one bulb a year out there ...

I also have some Halogens and they are great in the winter time because of the heat they generate. Every type has thier uses. JMO

I also realize that coal releases radioactive materials. We have to live with them because the "Greens" have prevented the use of clean nuclear and hydroelectric power.
The mercury released from a plant is bad enough, having it in your living room every time a bulb breaks is worse.
Buying them from the Chinese communists is the icing on a bitter tasting cake.
