I'm looking to buy an assault rifle and I found a website called www.atlanticfirearms.com. They seem to have pretty good prices. Has anyone ever purchased through this website? Is there a better website to buy from? Also, is there a place in Oklahoma City that has great prices on assault rifles? Any input would be much appreciated.

Mark at Mark's firearms can get you into a complete rifle already assembled for around $570. Talk to him, he is a member on here selling a variety of AR manufacturers products.

If you want an AK go for the TGI AMD-65, they are the best deal going on at the moment in my opinion. The TGI AMD-65 is pretty much a true Hungarian AK, it's not hacked together by the CAI monkeys. The receiver is Hungarian, manufactured at the FEG arms factory. It has a Hungarian CHF/chrome-lined barrel (huge bonus!). A soild finish (much better than a WASR). some type of epoxy paint. The sights will be straight, again being put together at a mil spec factory like FEG is awesome. Rock-solid folding stock (absolutely no play; just as sturdy as a polymer or triangle folder), and you can get a check weld from amd65tech.com. Smooth action from the factory, and if you polish the bolt and carrier like mine it will be like glass. It also has the Tapco G2 trigger which is nice for rapid fire and bump firing.

The are going for $399-425, which IMO is a steal. I love mine I have over 2500 rounds through mine with no failures.

Oh and the fireball it creates is amazing!

and you a sensationalism journalist from what news service??

Almost every gunshop in the metro area sells semi-auto sporting rifles in the models listed.
very few sell the $10,000-$20,000 fully automatic assualt rifles mentioned.
