Lost my favorite knife

Is it just me or do you guys also lose knives? I bought a Begg this summer and I used it today and can't remember where I put it.

Gosh that is frustrating. I hope it is just me and you guys are smart enough to not make these mistakes.

I lost a pocket knife two years ago. Looked for two days and finally ordered a new replacement.
The day the new knife arrived, I found the old one right where I left it.

I lost a pocket knife several years ago and one time I had to get under the house to do some work and found it from last time I was under there it’s lost again now

Now that’s a real bummer. I kept losing my daily carry, I like the Victorinox Tinker. Kept buying a replacement….:I now have three of the darn things as I found all those I’d lost in chair cushions when we moved. Since I stopped wearing dress slacks every day I haven’t lost it once.

I’ve gotten to where I just carry my douk douks now, because I got tired of losing other knives. And I lose those, typically find them a week or three later. But that’s no biggie, I would be upset about losing my case or Moore maker. I have three douk douks, right now I have two missing. I’m no fancy knife guy for sure, so I struggle to spend money on them, which means a case is too nice of a knife to lose.

A friend gave me a very nice knife for Christmas about 25 years ago. The second time I found it after losing it, I stuck it in the safe and have left it there ever since. Around the same time I had an original CRKT M16 that vanished, never to be seen again...

I carry my Victorinox Pioneer in a Hitch and Timber leather slip, along with an Olight AAA flashlight. If it falls out of my pocket, I'll know, because I constantly give myself a patdown whenever I get out of a chair or out of my truck or whatever.

Lost a USA made uncle Henry L8 lockback and never found it. But found a USA replacement.

I lose them all the time, that's why I carry the Buck, Uncle Henry... cheaper but serviceable.

I lost a uncle henry fixed blade in the sheath when it fell out of my pack while elk hunting in colorado. 5 years later hunting the same area and stepping across a stream there it was laying under water . it was rusted and pitted . I took it home ,put it on the buffing wheel and got the rust off . still pitted but I used it many times since
