M&P15-22 Tactical Rifle

What do you know about this rifle? It would be a lot cheaper to shoot than one the big boys. Help me out with what you think.

I shot a friend's and was very impressed.
It's on my current "wish list" although I might wait to see if they produce one with a factory threaded barrel.
That would be awesome.

You can get them for around $410 shipped to your FFL or $410 plus tax at gun shows (a dealer in Shawnee) or at the FFL I use, they are $460 plus tax at academy, and $540 plus tax at H&H. They are mostly polymer which makes them very light weight, like an airsoft. I am leaning towards the SR-22, I can get it for about the same price ($430 shipped to my FFL). You might want to look at one of the Sig 522's, hard to find, just released, and they should be in that same price point.

In the end it comes down to personal preference. Good luch in your decision, I have been looking for a while now and leaning towards the SR-22.
