I'm not sure moving to Texas is a great idea. Sure they used to be "The Great State" but now they are less of a US state and more of a DMZ between us and Mexico. Probably best to just start laying down the landmines...

If corporate welfare means having tax policies that promote growth and bring jobs/tax revenue to a state, then yes, put me down in the "for corporate welfare" column. (but those tax policies need to be equal across all industries so Oklahoma shouldn't pass special legislation just for Magpul)

If Magpul doesn't come here, there is no tax paid to Oklahoma.

If Magpul does come here, and we exempt them from some taxes for a period of time, then we got $$$$ economic impact that caused tax revenue. Then later, we get the taxes. This is a no brainer to me.

Broken Arrow give Brass Pro a tax deal to come here , some folks still have thier pannys in a knot over it but every 6 mo Brass Pro writes the city a big Check . We got a new hotel, an full strip center of busniess, 6 restaurants next to BS and more shops down the road from BS that came in due to Brass Pro .
