Lol about right...I made the mistake of watching full metal jacket with some friends two days after I got home from boot. I fell asleep during the movie. At some point in the movie revilie was playing. Everyone in the room wondered what happened when I jumped straight up from a dead sleep to the POA with eyes wide open.
I just answered about being a DI from my experience. I was in the Army as a combat medic before becoming a DI. Just talking about DI's not being a marine. worked with a bunch of them across the pond. Marines were good guys. It seemd they and the army combat engineers never seemed to do a job without getting hurt. I was always patching them up. 'Ocourse, that was 1965 - 68.
