Almost caused to DI to have a stroke once. I asked him if he had just chewed me out after he got through yelling at me. Explained that that was what I considered a gentle warning compared to what my father said when I screwed up. He did not say anything before he walked away, but his face was purple.

Not to mention if a recruit would have attempted talking back to a Drill Instructor, the result would not have been the DI walking away frustrated lol. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
